About The Artist

Kamal was trained as an artist under the guidance of Moyene Najmi who was one of the pioneers of the modern art movement in Pakistan, He held his first solo exhibition at the World Bank in 2006. Following its success, he held a series of exhibitions in leading art galleries in Pakistan. In 2015 he held an exhibition at the prestigious India International Center, New Delhi.

His works bear the stamp of an independent painter, unshackled by the constraints of formal art schools. In addition to private collectors at home and abroad his paintings hang in the permanent collection of The Alhamra Art Gallery, in Lahore, which is the paramount public sector gallery of Pakistan.
